Palnatoki
This Legend, the legend of Palnatoki originated in the 12th century. Its the story of a man, who got drunk and claimed to be able to shoot an apple placed on a wand. The evil king then asked the man to shoot the apple off the head of his son. He succeeded, however the king noticed that instead of getting one arrow out of his quiver he got three. The reason was the same as Tell's, to take revenge if he missed. Again, this has great similarity with the legend of William Tell, it also shows that the legend of William Tell may be based on other previous legends and stories.
