Hemingr Áslákson
The legend of Hemingr Áslákson, which originated at around 1200. Herald Hardrada challenges the archer Hemingr to shoot a hazel nut off his younger brothers head. This is strongly related to the legend of William Tell in the way that Hemingr would be Tell and Herald Hardrada would be Gessler.For further information and details see
